The HR staff were very polite and courteous.
From the beginning, it was clear that after completing the basic information and taking the online test, if you didn’t pass, you would not proceed to the next-stage interview.
After completing the basic background information (the fields were rather small), I proceeded to take the test.
It was divided into two parts. The first part covered intelligence, logic, and similar tests.
The second part was a professional test for the position you applied for!
I applied for a Sales Engineer position, and the test in the second part was truly baffling...
The questions were all intended for people with a “networking background” to take ^_^
Here’s one random example: How many bits are in the IPv6 addressing space?
Was I applying for a sales position or what???
This test isn’t for recruiting people for the position—it’s for recruiting test-takers!
