No advantages at all
After I submitted my résumé through a job bank, the company sent me an interview invitation and asked me to contact them via LINE. During the process, they also asked me for my portfolio and work experience.
Later, I went to the company on the day of the interview for a graphic design position. An internal employee asked me to complete a résumé form first and then wait for the supervisor to come and interview me. I waited for more than 40 minutes.
Waiting for a long time was one thing, but your company had no SOP for interviewing new candidates. They suddenly said there would be a practical test and casually asked an employee to send me a short video, telling me to add subtitles myself. The subtitles were not provided either—was I supposed to come up with them myself? Most importantly, the job description did not mention anything about video editing!
Then, after the supervisor called me over for an interview, the first thing they said to me was, “How did you eat yourself into such a round shape?” I absolutely cannot accept this kind of verbal humiliation and personal attack!!! They also told me that my work was very ordinary. I thought to myself, if it was so ordinary, why did you invite me to an interview?
The supervisor was also extremely harsh toward other employees. Is this the standard of your company? I quickly left afterward. This interview experience was truly terrifying.
