Pros

There was a glass of water.

Cons

I interviewed for a Customer Success Consultant position. In the first round, an HR representative brought my résumé into the meeting room, asked me to briefly introduce myself, then asked questions about my résumé and my expected salary, and that was it.

In the second round, a male and female department manager arrived with MacBooks. As soon as we sat down, the woman asked me, “Where is your résumé?” Sorry, but shouldn’t you ask your company’s HR department that question? The résumé was with your HR department, and they didn’t print it out for you. I really don’t know whether this department is marginalized or those two managers are so out of the loop that they never received it. Finally, while the man and woman were tapping away at their keyboards, they asked some cold, boring, standard questions (e.g., your most memorable customer complaint and your strengths and weaknesses), bringing this boring interview to an end. It felt like they were just going through the motions so HR could meet its performance targets. Everyone, please remember to print several copies of your résumé yourselves!
