Unless the pay is high, don't go. It feels like a traditional Taiwanese industrial company that acts superior and largely disregards workers' rights. Its standards for workers seem to be that as long as they barely meet government regulations, that's good enough. It was only short-term work, for less than a month, yet they still required a guarantor's ID card and seal. At work, you had to wear a hairnet, hat, uniform, and rain boots. This company pays only NT$5 more per hour than the government-mandated minimum wage.

At the end, they asked whether I could start work tomorrow. I said the day after tomorrow.

Then they said they needed to prepare things such as opening a bank account, so it would be next Monday instead.

When reporting for work, they required the guarantor's ID card and seal. This is really strange. It was short-term work, and it wasn't an important position or one involving handling money, so why did they require them? Very strange company.

Later, I called to ask whether I could provide them, and they said that if I couldn't provide them, I didn't need to report for work—it was fine.
