The company's business is steering online public opinion and building word-of-mouth. In reality, this means using various fake accounts (though they look like genuine accounts that are actively maintained) on Facebook groups, Dcard, Mobile01, PTT, and so on to leave countless positive comments about brands, while occasionally ridiculing and attacking competing brands. Later, to prevent the business of steering online public opinion from affecting the brand image of [Kai Yao], the company had a female veteran subordinate establish "Chengyang Co., Ltd." elsewhere on Dunhua North Road. I heard that employees at the subordinate's company all leave work very late, and mealtimes are often severely delayed. Another business involves finding influencers and bloggers to collaborate on sponsored and product-unboxing articles, such as xxx Yuan and Zhong xx.
The system is very strange. The company says internally that it does not support overtime, yet some employees are busy with their projects until 9 or 10 p.m. before they can leave the entrance. Moreover, overtime before 11:00 p.m. does not count as "overtime" according to the company; only after 11:00 p.m. can they charge a taxi home to the company account. Being one minute late to work results in a NT$200 deduction, and on their first day, employees are forced to sign various unreasonable employment contracts that violate government regulations.... As an aside, this company has had labor disputes in the past.
As others have shared, this really is not suitable for people who use their brains. The work style is like being a robot: constantly following orders, copying and pasting, and making Excel spreadsheets, like a student worker. The company's employees skew young; apart from the two bosses and several veteran subordinates, almost everyone is under 32. The company loves hiring young people. Do you know why? People with experience and future ambitions would not want to join, while recent graduates are easier to coax into joining. But after seeing all kinds of bizarre internal phenomena, young people want to leave within two or three years, so the company keeps recruiting new employees on job banks, repeating this cycle endlessly.
The job bank posting explicitly says:
This is suitable for people interested in the online marketing industry but with "limited experience".................I want naïve young people! Give me young people!
"No relevant work experience is fine," but please let us know that you are familiar with and passionate about social media.......I want young people! Give me young people!
Job skills:
1. Besides Facebook, experience using PTT, blogs, and forums............This means you need to know how to use accounts to leave comments
2. Experience participating in planning and executing events, or experience with club activities................Don't expect too much in this area
3. Proficient in MS Office
4. Positive and proactive attitude, willing to take on the challenge of learning new things...............The range of "new things" is limited
