The position interviewed for was: Data Analysis Engineer
The interview process was divided into an initial interview and a second interview. The process was quite distinctive: the manager first explained where their department had shortcomings, which felt quite sincere.
To be honest, the salary was pretty good. I had only a little over a year of work experience and asked for NT$36,000 plus bonuses paid three times a year. There was also a dormitory available, and I heard that it only costs a little over NT$1,000 (though I don't know whether that's true??). If it really is that cheap, it would truly be a blessing for people like us who come up from southern Taiwan.
By the way, lunch was provided. My interview had just ended around lunchtime, and I saw the dishes; they looked pretty good (though I don't know whether they taste good).
Both the managers in the initial and second interviews gave me a good impression. It wasn't really like what people say online—that they just want to trick you into joining. The working environment was also acceptable. However, I heard that the systems are not very well established and would require time to build, which, to be honest, makes me quite hesitant……
