The company is not small, the environment is clean and spacious, parking is convenient, and the interviewer explained things quite thoroughly and was very friendly. Everything follows the regulations.
At the beginning, they give you something like a self-assessment checklist. If you feel that you meet the requirements, you mark it OK. There is also a calculation test to assess your numerical aptitude. Since it is a food factory, the requirements are relatively strict, and you have to undergo a physical examination before starting work. As for the job duties, you are responsible for all internal data forms and such, and you also have to assist at the production site. At first, you will go there more often because you need to understand the processes in order to know how to use the forms; otherwise, you will not understand them. The interviewer emphasized that your computer skills must be stronger than those of the quality control and production staff there—in short, you need to be the strongest. They also repeatedly emphasized the importance of having a good grasp of numbers. As for overtime, the latest it goes is until 8:30 p.m., but usually it ends at 7:30 p.m., with a 30-minute break in between. The three-month probationary salary includes a NT$1,000 perfect-attendance bonus and meal expenses of approximately NT$1,980, for a total of NT$25,000. After the probationary period, it is adjusted slightly; as I recall, it is NT$25,480. Lunch is provided, and dinner is also covered when working overtime. The meal subsidy is NT$90 per meal. Whether you order a boxed meal or bring your own lunch, you receive the subsidy. Basically, everything follows the Labor Standards Act, and overtime is also paid.
