It seems that not going to the factory to do hard labor is considered letting the company down
Regular overtime with no overtime pay
Company employees are divided into two systems, A and B (A includes overtime pay, while B is a deemed-duty system). Employees are forced to sign up for the B system; if they refuse, they are forced to sign a voluntary resignation form
The most outrageous thing is that employees must clock in when starting work (to catch them being late), but are not allowed to clock out when leaving (accounting falsifies attendance records; I don't know what the Taipei City labor inspectors are doing—they never catch it)
