I thought about the advantages for a long time, and the only one is that there is no need to work overtime. There are no others.
My final advice: Don’t waste your life here.
After actually starting work, I found the following problems:
(1) There is no complete system or set of procedures. The departments do not function properly, are in conflict with one another, and employees lack competitiveness and a sense of unity. They push work onto one another, and some supervisors lack the ability to take responsibility.
(2) The salary is average, with no special benefits. Year-end bonuses depend on the company’s earnings; essentially, you can regard the annual salary as simply 12 months of pay.
(3) The salary structure and the way pay is deducted for leave differ from those of typical companies. You need to confirm the details carefully to avoid regretting it later.
(4) Basically, this is a one-person decision-making company. All decisions depend on the boss, so you need a high EQ and considerable patience to stay here for a long time.
(5) Employees are required to clean the workplace themselves.
(6) Some department supervisors lack professional ability and basic knowledge, and may instruct subordinates to use incoming-material inspection methods such as blowing an LCD with a hair dryer at high temperature.
(7) Supervisors’ meetings are long-winded and unfocused; they only argue and reach no practical decisions.
