During the interview, there was one manager and two senior colleagues. The manager left after just five minutes of interviewing, leaving only the two senior colleagues to continue casually chatting with me. To be honest, it felt really bad. We also spend time attending interviews; if they truly felt that my work experience was not a match, shouldn't they have refrained from inviting me to interview in the first place, rather than wasting both our time? Later, the two senior colleagues made small talk, which felt very much like an attempt not to make the situation too awkward. This was the first time I had gone to an interview where the manager left after five minutes and never came back....
