1. It’s quite convenient to write everything on an iPad.
2. The overall interview atmosphere was pretty good.
3. The interviewers were very polite.
1. They asked for very detailed information about my family background.
2. They asked about my partner’s employer.
3. They asked about the employers of my father, mother, and other family members.
4. They asked whether I had any experience buying or selling property?? (I honestly don’t know why an RD candidate would be asked this.)
5. They asked about my financial situation and whether I had student loans. (They asked very detailed questions—I don’t know what they needed it for.)
6. There was an assignment before the interview, and the email said that we would briefly discuss it on the day of the interview. However, in reality, we did not discuss any technical aspects of the assignment; they spent the entire time asking about my personal and family background.
7. They asked about my salary at my previous job, and HR also asked me to provide a salary statement for compensation assessment.
8. They asked whether I had any relatives or friends working within the group. (How would I know? XD)
Conclusion: It felt like my privacy was being completely stripped away. Whether this bothers you depends on how much you care about the points mentioned above.
