During the second interview, you will be asked to go to one of the stores to eat ramen, but you have to pay for the bowl yourself and write a report afterward. Looking back, isn’t this just an alternative way of using job applicants to boost sales?

During the third interview, in addition to filling out basic information, you also have to complete a bunch of tests and arithmetic problems, which takes a lot of time.

The job responsibilities discussed in the interview were different from those of the position I applied for. If they needed marketing personnel, shouldn’t they have simply advertised that position directly?

Before joining the company, people applying for all positions are required to intern at a store. I have to say that this is a very inefficient way to understand customers, because observing customers and hearing the needs they communicate is inherently not objective.

True marketing requires building a user database for data analysis. Without one, all marketing efforts will devolve into what “you think” rather than actual “user needs.”

From the way the interviewing manager talked with you, you could tell that this is a company that does not understand marketing but thinks it does.
