⚠️This post is intended to criticize Yiqi Co., Ltd. (which has the same owner and office as Laiyi), but since Yiqi does not have its own discussion board, this post is being published here first.
1. The company has no room for growth
The company mainly represents various mainland Chinese 3C products, but the product quality is as poor as that of night-market goods, while the manager keeps expecting us to package them as if they were excellent.
During the interview, the manager made it sound as though the company was developing, but in reality, the company cannot even afford to rent an office in Taipei City and is considering moving to Xizhi.
2. The manager lacks competence
The manager’s background and abilities are fairly ordinary, with no successful project examples, but they often think they are very capable and only give useless advice (e.g., “I think things just need to look pretty...” “When I first created this proposal, the product had to look pretty...”
They only know how to say that things should look attractive, without any target audience or market research analysis.
3. Constant message bombardment after work
There is one WeChat group for each product we represent, in addition to several company Line groups. Every time, the message bombardment continues until around 8 p.m., when it gradually quiets down.
Then, after work, the manager will frantically mention you in the groups. Aside from asking about work-related matters, they also assign tasks for the next day. None of them are actually important or urgent, but the messages in the groups make it seem as though you have not done anything.
