Pros

Really, there aren't any.

Cons

I posted before,

but I suddenly remembered something outrageous that I didn't include. I definitely have to add it.

When I started working at the lab,

there were only two other people in the lab besides me.

One junior supervisor had studied beauty and hairdressing,

and the other had joined the company just a little before me and had studied finance.

Neither of them had any science or engineering background at all.

When they were teaching me how to test acidity and alkalinity, this is what they said:

Let me tell you how absurd it was:

"If it's below 7, add these granules and dissolve them in water; if it's above 7, add this bottle (liquid)."

Then they poured a cup of sodium hydroxide into water.

I was scared to death—oh my god. Sodium hydroxide generates heat when it comes into contact with water. You absolutely have to add sodium hydroxide to the water; wouldn't doing it the other way around risk a sudden boil-over?

They didn't even understand what sodium hydroxide was, and they also didn't understand that the liquid in the bottle was an acid.

They didn't know that a pH meter reading of 7 means neutral.

Of course, they understood even less about what happens when you add acids or bases.

I even had to teach both of them a lesson. Seriously... I'm just a bachelor's graduate in science, sob.

Something's bound to go wrong if I keep working there sooner or later. It's incredibly dangerous.
