1. The HR representative carried themselves with an air of superiority, making me feel as though I had come to discuss a job with an annual salary of one million.
2. The interviewing manager was somewhat disrespectful. As soon as I came in, they interrupted and tilted their head, which made me feel a sense of distance. Later, they asked many questions, and the atmosphere became much more lively for a while. But in the end, they casually dropped the line, “Actually, you’re not even in my department. I’ll ask around to see who else needs someone to interview.” Goodness, I suddenly had this feeling of, “Who am I? Where am I?”
3. When I went in, they didn’t ask whether I wanted any water. I had brought my own cup, but after two hours, did they think neither of us needed to drink water?
※ A friendly reminder: if you are currently employed, I suggest considering this carefully. They might actually contact your current supervisor. In my experience, my supervisor knew not long after the interview, and then I was blacklisted. It was only a matter of time before I was removed. If you don’t mind that, you can give it a try—perhaps this was just my personal experience.
