They called and immediately asked what days and times I was available for an interview. They did not proactively introduce the position, and said that the position was not posted on any public webpage and would only be introduced and explained on the day of the interview. They said it was for a management trainee position, involving both HR and marketing work (though they initially said HR and sales). When I asked how they got my contact information, they said I might have applied to another company in the group (but after reading online posts, I found that they search for people's information everywhere and call them).
Whenever I expressed interest in learning more about the position, they quickly brushed it aside. It felt like they only wanted to keep the conversation focused on explaining the interview details so that I would accept the interview invitation.
