The environment is okay.

There are front desk staff (does that count as a plus?).

After I finished the written test,

they left me waiting for 2 hours

without even a glass of water…

Even though the interview was scheduled for 15:00,

I didn’t leave until 19:00.

Also, the assistant manager and manager who conducted the interview

had both never looked at my résumé before the interview…

Was it because there were too many applicants and they didn’t have time to review it?

Or did they think it was enough to listen to the applicant’s introduction during the interview?

“No relevant industry experience”—isn’t that something they should have known before the actual interview?

Regardless of the reason, the lack of respect for the job applicant is a fact.

Therefore, I’m giving this place a negative review.

Incidentally, the position I applied for here was “Japanese Animation IP Agent.”

I don’t know whether the turnover rate is high or the company is expanding its business,

but they seem to be hiring for it quite often.

The written test includes news and business-letter translation related to “Crayon Shin-chan” and “Demon Slayer.”

If you haven’t watched “Demon Slayer,” due to some of the manga’s setting-specific details,

it may affect the accuracy of your translation.

I recommend doing your homework beforehand.

Also, try to write as neatly as possible during the translation test,

because the manager is very particular…
