Taichung CMP Block——Nurse
1. No sales targets (nurses do not have a bonus clawback mechanism); bonuses are paid when targets are met.
2. No need to work overnight shifts.
3. Take-home pay starts at NT$42,000 (the government-set minimum wage is approximately NT$25,000, plus operating fees of around NT$15,000, a team bonus of around NT$3,000, and overtime pay).
4. Overtime pay: if you work legitimate overtime and submit an application, you receive overtime pay.
5. Good working atmosphere with consultants and beauticians.
6. Part-time: NT$350/day; surgical part-time: NT$350–500.
1. In their eyes, nurses are simply “medical assistants”—just junior staff, with all kinds of miscellaneous tasks placed on you.
2. The clinic does not mention ordering supplies; it even expects you to think about replacing doctors’ and nurses’ uniforms, and to plan the content and arrangements for new-employee training after work hours.
3. There is not enough staff, yet they insist that you participate in employee trips (before the pandemic, these were invariably overseas). The subsidy is NT$3,000–5,000, but you have to use your own leave, while the clinic remains open, leaving the nurses on duty to work themselves to death.
4. You work weekends, so you can see the activities at the Civic Square downstairs but cannot enjoy them.
5. There are already not enough nurses, yet they add clinic sessions absurdly (one doctor paired with one nurse), resulting in continuous overtime.
6. Working morning and afternoon shifts means you have to search for parking on holidays.
Every job has its pros and cons; make your own choice.
