This was probably the most outrageous interview experience I’ve ever had. HR didn’t explain everything in one go when calling to invite me to the interview, but instead called two or three times. Extremely unprofessional.
Even more outrageous, they required interviewees to call and cancel at least one business day before the interview if they needed to cancel; otherwise, they would report them to the job bank. Yet one hour before the interview on the day itself, HR called me to unilaterally cancel the interview because they no longer had an opening.
Damn, this is how HR behaves? No wonder people in Taiwan have such a poor impression of HR. They mistreat interviewees and make their own jobs look even worse.
