Close to home; the company was established a long time ago and has many multinational clients.

Although I did not attend an on-site interview, the contact process alone made me feel that I did not want to waste my time. Through 104, they directly asked me to call to schedule an interview time? (This was the first time I had encountered a situation where the interviewee had to call to arrange the time...) I asked when it would be convenient to contact them, and the company simply replied: “What time works for you? Please let us know.” (Simple and concise?)

So I arranged an appointment with them for the following afternoon, but the entire process made me feel very strange...

The next day, when they called, I wanted to first understand why the company was seeking to interview me, because my résumé did not indicate that I was looking for a business assistant position, and my experience did not match what the position required. I did not want to waste either party’s time, so I asked the woman on the phone. However, she told me that she did not know, as the supervisors were the ones reviewing the résumés.

I therefore decided not to attend the interview at the company, because they themselves did not even seem to know what they were doing. If I went there, how would I know what I would be doing there?
