The cream puffs look delicious.
The boss only spent five minutes on the interview.
1. It was only after starting work and reviewing the contract that I learned the probation period was unpaid if it lasted less than seven days, and that no severance pay would be provided if I were dismissed during the three-month probation period.
2. When I asked about the leave-scheduling system during the interview, I was only told that it could be arranged by agreement with the front-of-house colleagues. However, the contract stated that taking a scheduled day off would result in losing the perfect-attendance bonus.
3. Being one minute late results in a deduction of NT$5.
Because the contract was unreasonable and clearly violated the Labor Standards Act, I resigned on the spot.
