Pros

There are no advantages; you can only gain experience in printing.

Cons

Reasons I do not recommend it:

1. No overtime pay when you first join! That’s right, absolutely no overtime pay. Your supervisor may not ask the boss for overtime pay until a year or even longer after you join!

2. Non-compliance with the Labor Standards Act! Continuing the topic of overtime pay: after waiting and waiting to finally receive overtime pay, you will find that not only is it low, but the rate is uniformly 160 per hour for the entire company, regardless of position or salary. (Working overtime on holidays is paid at the same rate.) (Senior managers and the like may have different overtime rates.)

I privately asked accounting about my concerns regarding overtime pay, and they replied, “It’s more convenient to have a uniform overtime rate.” Wow, seriously!

Next is sick leave. Under the Labor Standards Act, sick leave should result in a deduction of half a day’s pay, but this company is different—they deduct a full day’s pay! I only confirmed this after asking many people, and it is truly outrageous!

Finally, there is the issue of salary payments. If you work a huge amount of overtime and earn more money, the company has a special way of paying your salary. Your base salary is transferred to your account; the remaining money is personally handed to you by accounting. As for the salary amount on your pay slip, it only shows the base salary deposited into your account. I don’t understand why they do this, but I know it definitely harms employees’ labor-insurance rights!

3. Handling the boss’s wife’s side business! That’s right—the supposedly great yet plastic (referring to her appearance) boss’s wife has a business involving cakes and water bottles. So, as the company designer, in addition to designing the company’s promotional materials, you also have to handle the boss’s wife’s side business (designing business cards and smoothie promotional materials for customers). Of course, you will not receive any extra pay for this, because she wants to exploit you down to the last drop—a very environmentally friendly concept!

4. The supervisor does not know how to manage people! As mentioned at the beginning, people often leave the company. Besides the problems with the company and the boss’s wife, the supervisor is also a major problem! First, he does not listen to suggestions from employees or other departments, and instead prioritizes whatever is convenient for himself.

Sometimes, when you encounter a problem and bring it up with him, he does not offer any advice and simply brushes you off with, “You’re doing great!” Damn it, I had been troubled by the problem for a long time before asking you for help; otherwise, do you think I wanted to talk to you?

Another problem is that he does not distinguish between public and private matters. Although it is genuinely difficult to be completely fair, you will still feel very unhappy!

Overall, please take a closer look when searching for a job!

Of course, these are not the company’s only problems. At O De’s factory, for example, the premises are agricultural land being used for industrial purposes, among other things. Since these issues are outside the relevant scope, I will not say more!
