Completely disrespectful to people ^_^

I was stood up for a three o'clock interview.

When I walked in, they told me to fill out some forms and said the manager was still on the way.

After 20 minutes, they told me they were still in the office.

I waited for almost another 20 minutes, thinking I had other arrangements later.

I wanted to know roughly how much longer I would have to wait,

so I asked the staff member who had me fill out the forms:

“Excuse me, about how much longer will it be?”

Less than five minutes later, the manager walked straight out, took the forms I had just finished filling out, and said, “I’ll call you if I have any questions after reviewing your résumé.”

What the heck?

Aren’t you supposed to review it first before scheduling an interview ^_^?

I can understand if something urgent came up.

You could have called me first to cancel and reschedule for another time.....

If they’re this disrespectful to interviewees, I really doubt they treat their employees any better lol.

Do they make every interviewee come all the way there for nothing...?
