The interviewer conducts a one-on-one interview. The process is relaxed and straightforward, mainly covering previous work experience and job-related skills.
The company is in a relatively remote location. Upon arriving, you are asked to fill out a form containing basic information, work experience, expected salary, and so on. However, most of this information is already included on the résumé, and since the company was the one that sent the interview invitation, it became apparent during the interview that they were only reviewing my experience at that moment. The questions were basically limited to whether I had experience organizing events.
The questions themselves were not inappropriate for the position, but considering the overall interview experience, it left a poor impression. If they were unable to accept candidates without experience, they should not have invited them to interview in the first place, wasting both parties’ time. The interview invitation was also delivered by simply asking me to come in directly at a certain time the next day. Overall, it made me feel that this was a disposable position.
In addition, the starting salary was low (although my lack of experience was a factor), and weekend overtime may be required to support events.
