Most of this company’s work consists of government tenders, so how easy the work is depends greatly on the project and the supervising manager.
The advantage of the Xinyi external office is that it is conveniently located, the office environment is fairly okay, it has OA panels, and there is at least a little privacy.
Let me start with what I consider the biggest drawback: this company has no refrigerator!! No refrigerator!! No refrigerator!!
What’s most outrageous is that even the head office doesn’t have one. This is very inconvenient for employees—there’s no way to refrigerate lunch boxes, afternoon snacks, and so on.
I previously saw comments online saying that working at a nonprofit foundation is pretty cushy, but I personally don’t agree. Taking on government tenders means that you have to absorb all the work that civil servants find difficult.
The job operates under a total-responsibility system, so if you haven’t finished your work, you may be bothered after work or on holidays. In fact, it makes the quality of life rather poor.
The work is actually quite busy, with hardly any break time during the workday.
The salary isn’t very high—just over NT$30,000 or so.
The workload, however, is astonishing @@
I feel that this is somewhat of a shady company. Think carefully before joining.
The company has been somewhat glamorized online.
