but it has been confirmed that there is no year-end bonus.

If you are a recent graduate with no work experience, then 25,000 is understandable and non-negotiable.

But for someone with more than five years of experience as a manager at a well-known retail store, offering only 26,000—and still having to ask the store manager???

It seems the junior interviewer has no authority to set salaries...

Unless you are truly out of options, there is no need to work here.
