Cons

1. There is only one person in the entire company whose word counts, but she is merely someone holding a particular position. Everyone still has to call her “the boss,” and everything, big or small, has to be run by her. It is astonishing that no employee in any department has the ability to think or solve problems, because everything requires “asking the boss.” Honestly, even being a dog would not be this humiliating. There is nothing worth learning here, and there is no career development at all.

2. Decisions are changed constantly, yet this is explained away with the excuse that “everyone wants the company to be better.” In reality, everyone is exhausted. A meeting scheduled with you might suddenly be canceled when the time comes. The work atmosphere is terrible, punctuality is habitually ignored, and I have personally seen interviewees left waiting for a long time. Employees are not respected, and the person who thinks she is truly the boss speaks even more inappropriately.

3. This is a traditional industry that uses the number of overtime hours to prove how much employees love the company; the multinational-company image is completely fake. There are no benefits whatsoever. The products given to employees are expired or about to expire. If you leave work on time, people will take notice—but ironically, when the all-powerful boss is absent, everyone leaves exactly on time. Acting is what the employees here do best.

4. They call it frugality, but bluntly put, it is extremely stingy. From the very beginning, they brazenly state that there is no overtime pay. Please note that this is a criminal group violating the Labor Standards Act. There is no clock-in or clock-out system, but this industry is not one where employees are on a “responsibility system.” They may call you at 8 p.m. while you are eating dinner and suddenly arrange a meeting, or call you on your days off. They have absolutely no respect for employees’ rest time.

5. The company is closed-off and has no comprehensive employee training plan. You may end up performing duties completely unrelated to your position. It may be presented as learning, but when you think about it carefully, it is absurd. All performance evaluations are controlled by the all-powerful old woman. Of course, the two people primarily responsible for HR operations are also extremely long-serving. They often hold secret meetings together, conspiring against employees and discussing their shortcomings, then figuring out ways to make the person concerned resign.

6. It is so absurd that they criticize counter staff in front of you, calling them idiots, and occasionally blurt out contemptuous remarks that they can just stand there and collect money. This criminal group flaunts French resources in Taiwan and acts arrogantly, while being very good at packaging a positive image for overseas supervisors to see. They even encourage employees to put on the same act.

7. This makes you lose the passion you originally had for developing your career. You may even become able to survive without using your brain. Harmony among colleagues is only superficial, because everyone has seen the unspoken rules here.

#Absurd #Closed-off #Disrespectful #If the products weren’t genuinely useful, this place would really make you question your values—how can there be a general manager like this? #ThinkTwice #StronglyNotRecommended

#Even when resigning, you cannot openly tell your colleagues #Because they think you are a traitor #It could also become a laughable entry on your résumé
