Pros

The interviewers and the company's managers were quite friendly, and the interviewers were fairly young. Since I was applying for a managerial position, the interviewers' questions about management and dealing with clients were also quite professional.

Cons

I felt that the company was looking for an all-rounder. The company does not use any stock materials at all, so it expects designers to create every asset themselves. Although I can draw by hand, to be honest, I am not stronger than an illustrator, and there also was not enough time to properly draw every element. Therefore, we would usually use stock materials for integrated design work. However, when the company heard that my work used stock materials, it became concerned about whether I was capable of handling the position. In reality, illustration design, photography, and integrated design are all specialized fields. Someone who is very good at hand drawing is not necessarily strong at poster or visual design. Based on my experience as a manager, my approach would be to assign different tasks according to each designer's areas of expertise and work as a team. This can actually achieve twice the results with half the effort. Still, every company has its own preferences and practices; it is not a matter of right or wrong. Being highly specialized in everything is great, but sometimes dividing the work and collaborating is not a bad thing either. ^^

During the interview, although the interviewers actively asked questions about management and work processes, they did not leave time for the interviewee to ask questions about the company itself, which was a shame.
