The company atmosphere is good, and there are plenty of places to eat nearby.
You need to choose your start date carefully. It is best to join between January and April, so you have a chance of receiving a raise the following year. Otherwise, if you join at the end or middle of the year, you may not receive a raise until your second year. Usually, department heads in each area submit raise applications before December of the current year. I joined at the end of the year and went a full two years without a salary adjustment. The timing of raises also varies by department. Some departments adjust salaries as early as February, while others may not provide an increase even by July. Raises are not based on your length of service.
You do not receive overtime pay. You are given compensatory leave instead, but you cannot choose when to take it. Seeing employees at other companies working on the same projects receive better benefits makes you want to move to another company and work there instead. Even if there is no money, at least there should be clearly defined times for taking compensatory leave.
