KSB TAIWAN CO, LTD_台灣凱士比股份有限公司
Pros

1. You can learn some basic pump maintenance, as well as knowledge about and methods of trading, since the company’s predecessor was KSB’s exclusive trading agent.

2. Mr. Huang in the Maintenance Department can teach you quite a lot about sales-related matters, and he is also willing to provide guidance.

Cons

1. The CFO vents his personal emotions at the company and often shouts loudly during working hours, which creates an unpleasant work atmosphere.

2. Since the pump market in Taiwan continues to shrink, the prospects are actually not good.

3. Senior colleagues in the company like to shirk responsibilities. With the workforce significantly reduced, the workload is quite heavy. For example, if you are in the Maintenance Department, you may have to leave at 4 a.m. on Monday to carry out maintenance in Tainan, go to Taichung on Tuesday, Hsinchu on Wednesday, Taoyuan on Thursday, and return to the area around Taipei for maintenance on Friday. This is the normal work pattern, so consider whether you can handle it before taking the position. You may also be assigned abroad for one or two weeks, usually with little advance notice. Please make sure this will not affect your family before accepting the position.

4. Basically, the German and Taiwan entities are two different companies and are only affiliated in name. This company is very different from what the general public typically understands as a German company.

5. The turnover rate is quite high. In a company of around 20 people, more than five employees may leave in a year.
