After thinking about it for a long time, I guess there aren't any in the end.
“We will have some excellent people leaving KISSME.”
The people being laid off seem to all be very senior employees. During the pandemic, the company should have been able to apply to the government for subsidies for laying off employees. If so, this is quite a shrewd calculation 😤
The people who really get things done don’t come to work; the ones who curry favor and push their work onto others are the ones who know how to work. That way, they won’t be laid off like those senior employees 😂
I really don’t know how these senior employees became senior. They were able to stay for so long, only to eventually be abandoned and end up as laid-off employees. Those who remain will one day become senior employees too, then get laid off, and the company will tell the remaining employees the same nonsense: “We will have some excellent people leaving KISSME.” The cycle continues, and those who remain have to be constantly on edge 😱
They give time off but no pay, requiring employees to use special leave or compensatory time off in exchange for paid leave. They’re really good at calculating things. This company not only has no benefits, it even tries to take advantage of its employees. Enough already.
There used to be employee trips, but now they’re gone, leaving only the year-end banquet. Given the pandemic, postponing it was understandable, but then they quietly acted as if it had never happened and saved the money. The employee welfare contributions were paid for nothing.
They claim to be democratic, but it’s all fake democracy. Democracy exists only in the princess’s heart. They say they value honesty and integrity, but only when it suits them (what are you even talking about?). They say they follow the Labor Standards Act, but they love nitpicking with employees. If you work overtime for events or interviews, and apply for compensatory leave, it’s only one or two hours anyway (because the system doesn’t provide an option for overtime pay). They say it’s giving you a chance to learn, yet you still have to apply for compensatory leave—and on top of that, they may put on a sour face or even slam the table.
A labor inspection took place, and afterward employees were told to lie. If the inspectors asked whether you could freely choose between compensatory leave and overtime pay when working overtime, you were supposed to say yes, even though the system doesn’t have an overtime-pay option at all. What honesty and integrity 😒😒
The clock-in window of 8:30–9:30 looks flexible, but it feels like a benefit someone arranged for themselves. I heard that they usually arrive at the office around 9:20, so they don’t have to take leave. That’s because employees are forced to take special leave or compensatory leave in two-hour increments, making it extremely un worthwhile to use leave for this kind of lateness. Personal leave can be taken in half-day increments, but then your pay gets deducted (it seems that as an employee here, you have to be even better at calculating than the company 😂). So they changed the working hours from 8:30–9:00 to 8:30–9:30—a great benefit on paper.
There are probably still people who have aspirations about this company. If so, come and experience it for yourself; it should be quite an enlightening experience.
