The junior staff get along well, and the woman in the HR department is a person of good character.

- The company does not pay overtime; working past 8 p.m. earns an extra NT$100.

- It is an open-plan office, so you can hear a lot of noise. Besides ordinary chatting, there are aggressive remarks and frighteningly emotional comments, some of which could even be considered workplace bullying. (Quite dramatic.)

- The positions advertised may involve multiple roles, and work assignments are distributed according to the supervisor’s preferences.

- The company’s managers are all friends of the boss!

- Basically, the only jobs people can stay in for a long time are those held by veterans who have already been there for five or six years, or jobs with consistently steady output (animation, graphic design, video editing). People may not stay long in the other positions; recently, most have stayed for less than two months!

The most memorable incident was when four people left one department. Customer service staff often have to deal with product-related problems, and the counter sales staff have a very difficult job. Did the supervisor bring in their own daughter to work as a part-time employee? The salary seemed to be quite high?
