Interview: Accounting Manager. The supervisor was very friendly, and the company was very formal, with Japanese-style management. Men are required to wear a suit and tie, and women must wear a suit or skirt. The company cannot accept any American-style or casual attire, so applicants should be mentally prepared. The interview includes tests: three test papers in total. You must immediately prepare an income statement, and there are also journal-entry questions. If you are accustomed to using an accounting system and usually generate reports through it, please practice beforehand. The second test seemed to involve about 20 English vocabulary words, as well as English questions and answers. The third test had three questions in Chinese and English: 1. Your views on teamwork; 2. Integrity; ... They would come over after half an hour to urge you and ask whether you were finished, so applicants should be mentally prepared.
Because the company’s system is very rigid, the workplace is quiet, and people generally do not dare to speak much. There is little interaction, so those who want to work in this kind of environment should be mentally prepared. There are too many tests and too little time to complete them. The entire interview process takes about 2.5 hours, and they still need to conduct another selection before deciding whether to invite you for a second interview. The interviewers will ask about every detail of your background (meaning they ask extremely detailed questions), so applicants should be mentally prepared.
