1. There is a clock-in system for starting work, but an honor system for leaving work; overtime is unpaid, and NT$5 is deducted for each minute of lateness.
2. There are many last-minute tasks, since there are often urgent matters to handle for the store counters and e-commerce. However, the boss expects the materials they want to review to be completed on schedule without delay, and these are often tasks that are not urgent.
3. The boss is often not in the office but communicates frequently by phone. It is common to work hard to meet deadlines without even having time to eat, only to wait half a day for the boss to review the work without receiving a response. After waiting for a long time, the sounds of the boss's dishes while eating can be heard on the other end of the phone.
4. Reimbursement for expenses paid upfront takes a very long time; I have waited more than two months, even for amounts of only a few hundred NT dollars.
