This company is a classic example of a company that hires by blindly casting a wide net. It always has job postings on the job bank, then sends out a bunch of notifications inviting a bunch of people to interviews. The key point is that this company does not look at applicants’ résumés at all—they just want you to show up first and go from there. Then, after an interview lasting less than five minutes, they say, “Thank you; we’ll be in touch.” Basically, all they need to do is sit in the office waiting for people to come in for interviews, spend five minutes interviewing each person, say goodbye, and then go home.
If you want to waste your time, you can go to the interview.
