Before my Shopee interview, I discovered that there were many negative interview reviews. Still, I approached my interview with mixed feelings.

The position I interviewed for was “Graphic Design Specialist.”

At the beginning, I was given a 10-minute Photoshop test to create a banner.

Then I introduced myself and was asked why I had left my previous company.

(The above were all perfectly normal.)

Next, the young female manager’s questioning process really gave me the impression that she was extremely disdainful and looked down on me, both in her attitude and facial expression (she even smirked crookedly)… Then she kept questioning every answer I gave!

🦐: We have a large volume of banners here and often have to work overtime. What level do you think you could achieve in ten minutes?

Me: I probably wouldn’t be able to make it extremely refined.

🦐: That’s a problem with your own abilities!

She also didn’t give me any time to introduce my own work.

My first interview experience was absolutely terrible! She spoke very rudely and kept pressuring me… I felt extremely disrespected.
