Pros????????

Oh my gosh~~~ I can’t find it in my dictionary!! @@

Cons

I don’t really have any suggestions either~~ because that monthly salary is truly outrageous!

1. Monthly salary: Starting at 27K (three-month probationary period)

2. There is no actual “year-end bonus,” but there is an individual “year-end performance evaluation.” For example, if you start in March this year, then in March of the following year, the company will give you a bonus based on your evaluation.

4. Lunch provided

5. I didn’t ask about the three traditional holiday bonuses!

6. The position requires highly flexible business travel.

7. Because of the pandemic, it happens to be the “off-season” right now, so they want to train new sales staff. Once the pandemic is over, they should be ready to get on track and push for results!!

8. The boss has a technical background~ (Usually weaker in sales/marketing)!!

9. The boss likes to “step in” and manage things a bit~

10. Mr. Lin mentioned... the boss does not easily trust employees!

11. The boss occasionally gets emotional.

12. For technical or customer complaint issues, you can ask the boss.

13. The company’s R&D is pretty good!

14. Because the products are small, they are almost always shipped by express! Even air freight is uncommon, let alone sea freight (LCL...etc.).

15. It looks like order processing and shipping are handled by those few “sales assistants.”

16. The boss stood me up that day (it was already the agreed interview time and place, so why would he go out????). This is something I really can’t forgive!!

17. Annual leave must be applied for 14 days in advance!!

18. Here’s the funny part~~~~ When that Mr. Lin was coming downstairs (in the stairwell—in the partitioned area behind the reception desk), I was already sitting in the sofa area at the other end!! His voice wasn’t exactly quiet either (and the stairwell echoed), and he said to the HR lady: “If you’re offering 42K, then there’s no need to talk!” (At that moment I thought, actually, there’s really no need to force it—I can really leave now??? Hahaha.) Absolutely awful!!!!

A company that doesn’t understand that employees (good employees) are assets... then how do you expect employees to feel any sense of commitment??????

There’s an English saying: “You pay peanuts, you only get monkeys”!! Besides, I was applying for an overseas sales position~~ Did they think I was a fresh graduate coming to be a tiny, tiny, tiny sales assistant? To handle shipping and photocopying??? What a mess!!!

Don’t say I didn’t go to the interview—I read many reviews before going! I never expected... it was really true!!!!!!!!! @@ Ugh~~

These facts forced me to share them!!!
