Overall, a few years ago there was still some of the drive and ideals of a startup. Although there were conflicts internally, they were really sparks stemming from a desire to get things done well. Things have changed a lot since then. The company can no longer retain idealistic people, and capable people may not necessarily want to join. The atmosphere of staying in one’s comfort zone is very strong.
