- After completing the assessment, I had to wait a long time before the manager came to interview me.

- During the interview, I was asked whether I had experience competing with other departments to get requirements prioritized and scheduled. When I heard the phrase “competing for requirements,” I instinctively said no.

Later, he asked a more practical question—essentially about a problem they are currently facing: whether I would develop a system (invoices or POS, or something like that) to integrate with Taiwan’s tax system, or be a Product Specialist for another country.

I should not have answered. I should have declined.

However, I gave a somewhat haphazard answer at the time, though it was fairly well-founded.

After thinking about it later, I realized it was not the best answer.

The fact that they use words like “compete” and “fight for” shows that this team and manager lack professionalism and do not understand cooperation and communication.

- I spoke with HR by phone before the interview, but only found out on the day of the interview that this was a position listed as “Specialist” at headquarters.

- Everything else was fine
