鼎恒數位科技股份有限公司
Pros

The work team is great, and most colleagues are very friendly.

Cons

I originally didn’t really want to leave a comment, but recently I saw the boss say on Facebook that everything online consists of *false statements*, so I decided to write this.

The company first canceled the annual salary increases, saying that after becoming an emerging-stock company it had to be accountable to shareholders, and that salaries couldn’t be increased without making a profit. Everyone can understand that, and at most feel regretful about it. But then it canceled the guaranteed 14-month salary and changed it to a performance-based system ranging from 0.4 to 4 months… When I originally negotiated my salary, it was an annual salary that was directly divided by 14. Then the company simply changed the arrangement.

The company helped the boss gain fame and fortune, yet the boss thinks that the frontline employees’ hardship is an honor. On typhoon days, posting about days off in the big LINE group was said to be for election publicity; from then on, there would only be a day off if the boss said so. The company makes products, but later, in order to bring in money, it kept discussing custom projects while failing to schedule them properly. Everything was the highest priority, and every requirement had to go live within two weeks, not to mention a pile of missing components. The solution was simply to ask everyone to cooperate with overtime. Frontline employees were told to weather difficult times together, while the company bought a bunch of expensive furniture, rented a high-end office, and hired a group of highly paid parachuted-in consultants. Although the company is a startup, it introduced across-the-board salaries, setting them so low that even HR didn’t dare send the offer to the candidate. The workplace agreed upon when joining was inexplicably changed to another address. I just didn’t make an issue of it; otherwise, even the company’s legal counsel said the company could be sued.

The most amazing thing is that the boss can still accept interviews or say on Facebook that this is a *people-oriented* company.

Also, the company has a long-serving employee called Fxxxx who is specifically responsible for deployments. Everyone in the company knows that there’s no way he’s really that busy, but the company doesn’t do anything about him and lets him act arrogantly all day. Every time there’s an issue to investigate or a deployment to perform, everything gets held up by him.

Anyone who has worked there knows whether what I’m saying is true.
