There was a phone interview before the in-person interview that lasted about an hour, during which they also explained the general direction of the interview test questions. Once I arrived, I was taken in to complete the test: logic questions, situational questions, and typing speed. They gave me a laptop and quickly explained how to operate it, then HR disappeared. If there were any questions, I was told to call them via the internal phone. It did not feel very good.

After I finished, they said there was no time for an interview and that they would send my information to the manager and notify me separately. Some time later, I received a message saying they would not schedule another interview. I followed HR's reminders and answered the test according to the suggested directions, but I don't know whether my answers were simply too poor, or whether HR just asked people to take the test to make up the numbers and show that HR was still looking for candidates. This company wastes people's time. The salary is not particularly good either. Is making applicants take so many tests just a way to assess whether they have enough willingness to be exploited?
