1. They delay payments to vendors, and in the end, the people who suffer most are those on the front line, who have to apologize while being berated by the vendors.

A company with no credibility that is full of itself will withhold just a few thousand dollars from a vendor for more than three months, then ask the vendor to understand that they may be dealing with cash-flow issues or something! Why doesn’t your company understand that the vendor only earns a few thousand dollars from you, and pay promptly instead of making the vendor front the money?

2. They exploit SOHO designers; they are simply an astonishingly cheap and exploitative employer with no sense of market rates for designers.

3. They like to find newcomers to take the blame.

4. The senior managers verbally bully people and speak without considering others’ feelings. (The company’s policies even advocate against workplace bullying, yet a certain manager leads by example in bullying others.)

5. Don’t go there and waste your life. They like hiring inexperienced people and brainwashing you into thinking that this is just the hardship of the industry. (It absolutely isn’t! You’re simply being exploited.)
