Seeing the glowing review above, it seemed like the boss had even stepped in to respond (?)

The interview was basically fine, and included press release writing.

The terrible part was the “attitude of the HR staff and supervisor”!!!

After asking whether I was interested in the job, they asked me to email them to confirm. But what happened? After waiting several days without a response, I called the company because I had other offers waiting for my decision. HR then said they would get back to me by the end of the day. Of course, they never called. Two days later, they changed their story and said, “The supervisor is in a meeting,” and promised to reply before the end of the day (they still never called—where did their basic courtesy go?).

Well, if you’re looking for a backup candidate, you could use a different way of speaking. Truly a baffling company. Fortunately, I didn’t end up going there.
