The employee showing candidates to their seats was very polite and even offered each interviewee a glass of water.
The first stage begins with logic and math tests at a middle-school level. During the process, you need to create a draft product design, followed by a personality assessment.
The manager in charge of the project was friendly during the interview, but during the interview with the boss (?), I wasn't sure whether they were trying to assert their authority, as they repeatedly belittled the interviewee. They asked the usual questions that come up in interviews.
Key points from the interview:
1. The interview began by criticizing the candidate's appearance and age.
2. They barely looked at the portfolio posted online.
3. Why should we hire you? What advantages do you have over the other candidates?
4. They asked about marital and romantic status because the boss (jokingly) said they didn't want to cause a scandal.
5. What did you do during your period of unemployment?
6. We only hire elites, not OO, so besides being strong in 2D graphic design, you also need to know how to use 3D software in order to join product design.
7. What salary do you expect? (They kept trying to get the interviewee to say a figure first.)
The interview was quite aggressive, so I would advise future candidates that if they feel uncomfortable, they don't need to let themselves be intimidated.
