The colleagues get along harmoniously, possibly because the turnover rate is extremely high and the people who come in are all young.
Taking leave is not difficult; you can take it whenever you want.
The company offers a salary of NT$24,000. After that, there is an annual performance review, and if you pass, you get an extra few hundred dollars, but it will absolutely never exceed NT$28,000. The key point is that the increase is added to the bonus, which is then deducted for various strange reasons. There are no three seasonal bonuses, and the year-end bonus is NT$20,000.
Before I left, employees inside had raised issues about working hours. You start work at 8:00 a.m. and finish at 5:30 p.m., but they stubbornly insist that half an hour is break time and claim it is a rest period. However, there is no such thing as break time when working there. I heard that someone was preparing to report the company to the Labor Bureau. The company eventually changed the end time to 5:00 p.m., while still saying that it was not changed because it was illegal, but because there was a dispute.
Being late results in your salary being deducted twice. Taking leave and being late is clearly a violation of the Labor Standards Act.
Honestly, this kind of salary is even worse than part-time work. You do technical work but receive less pay than a part-time employee.
I strongly do not recommend joining this company. For young people who really need a job, I suggest completing a course at the Workforce Development Agency and then finding a better company to work for.
