Only those on the factory manager's favored list are well regarded. For example, others do almost all the heavy work, while poor performance is pushed onto subordinates. His younger brother is often late, but nothing happens to him. I wasn't part of his clique, so I couldn't put up with it anymore and left on my own. Those who don't want to flatter the factory manager can only leave. Even the conscientious owner doesn't know what's going on—everything is kept hidden.
