Close to the city center and accessible by MRT.
That is probably the only advantage.
1. The company’s organizational structure is extremely flat. All the managers are second-generation family members or their wives, making it an intensely family-run business. Don’t expect any opportunities for advancement.
2. There are too many second-generation family members, and every one of them is an “xx manager.” They fight among themselves and also with the second-generation members’ wives. So if you find that a particular manager thinks you are outstanding and wants to bring you in, you’re doomed.
3. The company should be fully replaced by AI, because it is not suitable for employing people. Even if you ask a colleague next door for advice, you will immediately receive a call from a manager asking, “You and xx have no business relationship at work, so why were you talking to him?”
4. The company requires fluent English but is only willing to offer a salary of 25,000. If you ask for a few thousand more, they assume you should work yourself to death.
5. You have to arrive early in the morning to do cleaning, and afterward everyone has to gather and shout, “Go, Zongxin!” If you walk too slowly to your assigned position, you will also receive a call from a manager asking about it.
A very bizarre company. This is probably what everyone imagines a Kaohsiung company to be like, but only after leaving did I realize that there are still many normal companies out there.
