京晨科技股份有限公司
Pros

The company is on the top floor, so it’s very convenient to smoke.

Cons

I left about half a year ago, so I should still be able to provide an objective account.

Basically, the entire company is controlled by three people:

Code name T: The company’s big boss

Code name Z: The big boss’s friend, in charge of HR

Code name V: Z’s biological younger brother, who manages everything visible

Before joining, I had already read the experiences shared by various predecessors on Tianyancha. At the time, I thought everyone had different experiences,

and that since some time had already passed, these things might not necessarily happen to me.

Below is my firsthand experience, along with some accounts I saw, for reference:

Before joining

1. The posts here mention that there is swearing during interviews. This is true; only go if you don’t mind.

2. The interview process was fairly pleasant. Afterward, they were very proactive about coordinating whether I would be stationed in Miaoli.

3. If you have agreed to start working there, it’s best to pay close attention to the salary details, so that certain clauses don’t cause you to lose your year-end bonus.

After joining

1. Z’s initially enthusiastic attitude suddenly did a complete about-face.

2. Basically, T, Z, and V all act as though they look down on everyone else; everyone else is treated like an ant.

3. Calling a large group of people into meetings at any time is standard practice.

4. When in Miaoli, spending the entire day in meetings is even more routine.

5. When the boss asks you a question, answer honestly, and afterward T and Z will summon you for saying too much.

6. The boss likes to disappear in the afternoon and then show up around six o’clock to call people into a meeting.

7. Meetings with the boss are held standing up. The boss moves around constantly—stretching one moment, sitting on the table the next, then lifting dumbbells nearby.

8. As for professionalism, there isn’t much to say; an outsider controls the decision-making power.

9. After the requirements interviews and specifications have been completed and confirmed by the user department,

an insider may suddenly show up and directly override your team members, changing the specifications without notice.

10. The prices and schedules agreed upon with vendors are never satisfactory, but when she negotiates herself, she gets the exact same results.

11. Even when a vendor’s quotation is outrageous and its attitude is poor, and we clearly have the ability to develop it ourselves, the people in power would rather compromise and accommodate the vendor.

P.S. The vendor’s quotation was 10 times the cost of developing it in-house—and they were still willing to accept it. You be the judge.

12. Offering professional advice is treated as being out of step with management’s ideas.

13. They are extremely afraid of being bad-mouthed by former employees, apparently because of something that happened in the past.
