One HR manager and three staff members—a large team. It feels like they take this interview seriously.
First round:
The HR manager (dark-skinned and somewhat overweight) kept relentlessly asking about private plans such as financial support for my parents. In the end, I could only deflect by asking whether private plans would affect this job. The interviewer then laughed and replied: “It’s fine if you don’t tell me. It’s not like I really want to know how much you give your parents.” (Speechless.)
Later, they also asked who I would share details of this interview with. I answered, “An old friend.”
Second round:
The senior audit manager casually remarked: “The interview details should be kept confidential.” Only then did I realize how they had interpreted that question in the first round. They would actually prefer this kind of rigid, fake answer. We never signed a confidentiality agreement—what gives them the right to demand that people not discuss the interview?
