The person Company Loves Brands hired has absolutely no experience in business development and no ability to solve problems independently. They only know how to look for vendors, saddling the company with several million in SI fees, and then plan to flee to the securities industry. They even moonlight as a consultant here and tell me not to worry.
I agreed to join the company to cover for that person while they moved to the securities industry. I had not even reported for work yet when they called me the next day to solicit a solution. I was momentarily stunned, so I casually gave them two examples I had worked on. There was not even a word of thanks; instead, they told me to listen carefully to the requirements. Later, they said the second one should be the solution and that they would ask about it at a meeting with the vendor the next day.
I immediately emailed HR to cancel my start date. I doubt this company will have much luck making money; the whole company is full of empty talk. There is only a baccarat table in the office area—is it preparing to commit suicide when investigators come knocking?
Absolutely no drawbacks!!
